Directions
- Wash the apples and Yes!Berries and dry with paper towel.
- Cut your apples in half from the top where the stem is located down.
- Cut the halves in half again lengthwise, try to keep the halves even. You should have 4 equal sections. Repeat for remaining apples. Be sure to also remove any of the core from the apple.
- Using a Paring knife cut a wedge out of the outside of the apple lengthwise to create the mouth.
- Cover both sides of the opening with peanut butter.
- Push the almond slivers into the top section of the opening to resemble teeth.
- Slice the Yes!Berries length wise to create the tongues
- Place strawberry inside mouth of the apple in the center. (It should stick to the peanut butter)
- Use the peanut butter as an adhesive on the back of each eye ball and place them above the mouth on your apple.
Cooking Tips
Keep in mind that the apple monsters need to stand up on their own so try and keep the weight and proportions in mind when cutting up your apples. Test if they can stand up on their own or need adjustments.
