- Wash, hull and roughly chop the strawberries. With a fork, mash 1/3 of the berries to make a sauce and set aside. Also set aside 1/3 cup chopped berries to top each dessert with.
- Whip the cream with the sugar until it holds it’s shape.
- Roughly break the meringues. Set aside ¼ of the meringues. Mix the remainder with the chopped berries. Swirl the strawberry sauce among the mixture.
- Evenly divide the combined meringue and strawberries into 8 large glasses or serving bowls. Top with the meringues and chopped berries that you had set aside.
- Enjoy promptly as the meringues will soften quickly.
